Diesel injectors are expensive β€” replacing them on a guess is an expensive guess. We carry out cylinder balance tests, leak-off (back-leakage) testing, live data analysis and a physical inspection of the injectors before quoting. Often only one or two are at fault, not all four.

Yes. Injector codes (IMA / ISA) are written into the ECU using manufacturer-level diagnostic tools. Without coding, the engine won't run smoothly.
