Usually yes. A combination of fault code reading, boost pressure live data, visible signs (oil in the intercooler, blue smoke, whine), and physical inspection (shaft play check) tells us 90% of what we need to know.
Yes — we offer economy and Stage 1 performance remaps for cars, vans, motorhomes and 4x4s. See our ECU remapping page. A turbo that's actually failed needs replacing first, though — a remap won't fix a worn turbo.
