EGR deletes are illegal under UK emissions regulations and an automatic MOT failure. They void your insurance and devalue the car. We only repair legal emissions systems. If a competitor will do them, that's their decision.
Often yes — if the valve is mechanically sound, just carboned up. If the valve is electronically faulty or seized, cleaning won't bring it back. We test before we sell you a clean.
EGR coolers are usually replaced rather than repaired. The internal welds fail under thermal cycling and a repaired one rarely lasts. Replacement is the proper fix.
